Roosevelt Galleria

Roosevelt Galleria is located at the west end of the newly developed Roosevelt Retail shopping corridor serving the South Loop and surrounding neighborhoods. The “Roosevelt Road Corridor” extends east-west along Roosevelt Road from Michigan Avenue to Ashland Avenue. The trade area has become one of the largest and most successful retail markets in the City of Chicago. The proximity of the regional roadway system and the availability of new housing stock have brought this sector of the city to the forefront for new residential development, which in turn has led to the explosion of retail development in the area. The market has quickly become similar to the “North Avenue/Clybourn Avenue Trade Area” in terms of the mix of retailers and regional draw. Given the lack of retail extending south along the lakefront the “Roosevelt Road Corridor” is able to draw from a huge geographic region encompassing over 15 neighborhoods. As a result of this great demand, the retailers in the South Loop enjoy excellent sales volumes.
